UI or user interface is a very interesting topic to me.  At the basic premise, it is how we interact with things.

We have a microwave in the breakroom at work – I walked up to it one day and realized it has no number buttons.  At first – it’s kind of like…what do I do with this?  But then you see the dial and when you turn it – boo-ya-baby, you get a new UI.  A dial for the the time.  Way cool.

It really reminds me of the Amana Radar Range we had growing up – I’m not sure if it was one of the first ever microwave – but that is definitely what it looks like.

But this things works and it works well.  Have you ever seen one of these?  How did it work for you?
